Tapeworks now introduces a flames kit for the Sportster 1200 with that little peanut gas tank and narrow fender.

Using a black Sportster 1200, Tapeworks designed kit 5566 with the intent of covering up the painted-on dual pinstripe that comes stock on the bike. This was a bit of a head-scratcher for us at first and we weren't sure how it would look when we were finished. But, as you can see from the photos below, it turned out very, very nice and against the gloss black paint, #122 Flat Black is such a cool color combination. As with all Generic kits, you may have to trim a little bit where any graphics run off the tank and fenders (and around any other objects that get in the way), but that's easy to do with a sharp hobby knife. As with all Generic kits, graphic sections may overhang off the tank and fenders, depending on how and where you install them. Finish trimming we leave up to you but, a little cut here, a little overlap there, some trimming to finish it off, and you'll come out with something truly special.
Changing Colors
Any solid color kit can be produced in any of over 100 colors so just because a kit may show in black for example, doesn't mean you can't have it produced in fluorescent green if you desire... Click here to see our Color Chart.
